The ground improvement schemes completed includes e.g. design of micropiles installed through existing foundations, settlement reducing piles for tunnel foundations on soft clays, vertical drains in soft clay deposits to speed up the consolidation process during e.g. surcharging to reduce post-construction settlement, and densification of granular soils using heavy/rapid impact compaction.
