We take marine projects a step further by performing mooring analysis of floating bodies subject to waves, wind and current exposure.
Our coastal and marine engineers are proficient with the use of OPTIMOOR for the dynamic response of moored pontoons, platforms and vessels. Passing vessel forces on moored bodies can be estimated using a moving boundary feature with help from the Mike 21 HD module. For more demanding applications, including floating bridges and TLPs, we are able to determine the response of any floating object with WAMIT, a numerical package capable of calculating all hydrodynamic damping and added mass, Froude-Krylov forces, and response operators in irregular waves.
