As a structural engineer with Gerwick, you would work closely together with our team of coastal, geotechnical and other structural engineers. Your assignments and responsibilities would include:

• Design and analysis of bridge, tunnel and marine structures;
• Development of construction plans and specifications; and
• Preparation of design calculations and reports.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience from structural engineering with strong analytical skills, experience with structural detailing of steel and concrete structures, and is proficient in finite element modeling using SAP-2000 and/or ABAQUS or similar. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this position. MSc. or PhD in civil or structural engineering is required, with a PE in the State of Washington a plus.
