Inland Waterways

Ben C. Gerwick, Inc. construction for navigation structures on the United States Inland Waterways is currently being transformed by the introduction of innovative off-site prefabrication technology developed for the construction of offshore platforms, bridges, immersed tubes, storm surge barriers, dry-docks, and other marine related structures. Gerwick’s long-term experience in such marine related structures has allowed it to provide advanced engineering and consulting to replace “in-the-dry” construction within expensive cofferdams, with more economical “in-the-wet” construction for such innovative projects.
